Questions about tickets
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Download the app free. It checks your laptop, downloads the right AI model for free, then asks you to choose a ticket. Press "Skip for now" and you can compress files up to 10 MB, free, for as long as you like. Everything else is there to see, and opens for one flat white.
What is free, and what needs a ticket?
Free, with no ticket: the app, the AI model download, and compress for files up to 10 MB. With any ticket: compress for any size, chat with your files, writing, automations (watch folders and batch jobs) and knowledge packs. Pro adds choosing your AI models, reading pictures and scans, and Build mode.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Every ticket comes with 14 days money back, no questions asked. Sign in to your account and press "Request a refund" next to the payment. It is refunded to your card straight away (banks take a few days to show it). A refunded ticket stops working at the app's next update check. A refunded upgrade only undoes that upgrade: what you bought before stays.
How does the Pro free trial work?
Pro is free for 7 days. You add a card at checkout, but nothing is charged during the trial. We email you 2 days before the first charge. Cancel any time before then on your billing page and you pay nothing. If you stay, the first charge is one flat white for a month, or ten for a year, at the price on the day you joined.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Cancel any time on your billing page (Account, then Manage billing). Pro keeps going until the end of the period you paid for. After that you keep the version you have, and it works like a Single ticket: on the platforms you already used, on 1 device. Pro features switch off. Nothing on your device is deleted.
What happens when version 2 comes out?
A Single ticket keeps working on the version you bought, with its minor and security updates, for as long as you like. Moving to version 2 costs extra, or you can upgrade to Season for the difference. Season tickets get every version for ever. Pro always has the latest version.
How many devices can I use?
Single: 1 device. Season: 2 devices. Pro: 5 devices. You can move a ticket to a new device by removing the old one in your account.
Does the Pro price go up when the flat white does?
No. Your Pro price is locked at the flat white price on the day you join, for as long as you stay subscribed.
Does Pro need the internet?
No. Pro works offline with a signed Pro pass that lasts about 5 weeks. The app renews it during its normal update check when you are online. Nothing new is sent.
Laptop or mobile for a Single ticket?
You choose one platform type at checkout: laptop (Mac or Windows) or mobile (iPhone or Android, coming later). Season and Pro cover both.
Can checkout remember my card?
Only if you tick the box at checkout. Then upgrades later take one click. Your card details stay with Stripe, never with us. You can remove a saved card on your billing page.
